The SAGE 2019 demo for Lloyd the Monkey 2 will be debuting next Friday (September 27). Thus, we have a few things to announce to drum up excitement for the newest build.

Cinematica
The biggest addition you'll notice in the game is the presence of an (WIP) animated cutscene, storyboarded by game director Noah Meyer. This scene features some elements inspired by techniques used in Neon Genesis Evangelion, and features the debut of the game's lead VAs.

Gameplay
We've also made some adjustments to the gameplay, so now Lura can dash at anytime regardless of her MP. In addition, the added speed from a roll, wall-jump or dash is maintained while the character is still airbone, creating a new sense of flow that can lead to some cool tricks. The demo also features the first three stages, and an intermediary stage set at Byzantium University, similar to the Mega Man Zero series.

Some bugfixes have also been made, leading to a more polished experience.
